Koenigsegg just put the Bugatti Veyron Supersport's fastest production car title in serious jeopardy. The Swedish automaker has submitted six different results to the prestigious Guinness Book of World Records.
Upon homologation, Koenigsegg's achievements will appear next to the longest dwarf toss, the largest ketchup bottle and the man who clipped 104 clothespins on his face. That's right!
Here are the new records set by the Agera R:
The Veyron Supersport pales in comparison with a 0-200 mph time of 22.2 seconds.
These records are obviously an excellent way to attract wealthy consumers to the 1,050-horsepower supercar worth over $1 million.
Koenigsegg might enjoy a short reign, though, as a few other cars threaten to break the above marks, such as the SSC Tuatara with its 7.0-litre twin-turbo V8 producing an estimated 1,350 horsepower.
