Nine members of Mercedes-Benz's pan-Canadian distribution network have been designated Star Dealers for 2009. The distinction generally goes to dealership owners that played a key role in the success of the German manufacturer in 2008.
The Star Dealer title is awarded based on a combination of points accumulated under the Dealer Award Program and points received from new vehicle sales in four high-volume categories. The Star Dealers are people that demonstrated excellence and commitment to the company in 2008. From East to West, the nine recipients are:
1. Maurice Parent of Chatel Automobiles in Québec, QC
2. Danny Champagne of Mercedes-Benz Rive-Sud in Greenfield Park, QC
3. Sam Eltes of Automobiles Silver Star Montréal Ltée in Montréal, QC
4. Bernard Franke of Franke Ste-Agathe in Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts, QC
5. Jonathan Pushka of Mercedes-Benz Midtown in Toronto, ON
6. Peter Fuller of Mercedes-Benz Mississauga in Mississauga, ON
7. John Angelucci of Mercedes-Benz Barrie in Barrie, ON
8. David Morris of David Morris Fine Cars Ltd. in Edmonton, AB
9. Rick Sentes of Kelowna Auto Gallery in Kelowna, BC
