Mercedes-Benz is teaming up once again with the prestigious Swiss watchmaker IWC Shaffhausen for a new limited edition, this time of the powerful and luxurious SL63 AMG roadster.
The car is prepared in collaboration with IWC, as well as by Mercedes-Benz, AMG and Designo. Many features are unique to the edition, such as the exclusive Tobago Brown nappa leather seats, Carbon matte trim and Kashmir white finish.
The exterior sports essentially the same features as the "regular" AMG versions. The rear diffuser insert and Carbon matte trunk deflector are back to improve air flow. Mercedes-Benz intends to increase the contrasting effect with the white finish and the dark hues of the Carbon matte. The same 6.2-litre, 518-hp V8 developed by AMG Performance hides under the hood.
Total production is limited to just 200 units. However, Mercedes-Benz is putting 10 cars at the disposal of Canadian dealerships for the national market. What's more, with each Mercedes-Benz SL63 AMG Edition IWC the automaker is including a "Grosser Ingenieur" (Great Engineer) watch from the famous Swiss company.
