Michelin Triumphs Again with Trio of J.D. Power and Associates Original Equipment Tire Customer Satisfaction Study Awards

., -- The results of the 2009 J.D. Power and Associates Original Equipment Tire Customer Satisfaction(SM) study are in and Michelin ranks highest in OE Tire Customer Satisfaction for Luxury Vehicles; Passenger Cars; and Truck/Utility Vehicles.

Scoring an average of 55 points higher than the industry average in each segment, Michelin claimed its 57th, 58th and 59th J.D. Power and Associates Awards, four-times more than all competitors combined. The survey of year two owners of vehicles included 14 tire manufacturers. Michelin led all brands in overall satisfaction in the Luxury Vehicle; Passenger Car; and Truck/Utility Vehicle segments, and posted the highest score in all index factors. Luxury Vehicles, Passenger Car Vehicles, and Truck/Utility vehicles represent the three largest segments of the market.
