If you've been following the 2009 Nissan GT-R, you won't be surprised to learn that it's not a machine that will be readily available at just any dealership.
Nissan today announced the dealerships which are authorized to participate in the GT-R retail program. Before being authorized, the dealership must meet training, tooling and facility standards.
Twenty Nissan dealers across the country made the cut, including locations in major cities like Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver, Edmonton and Calgary. A full list is posted below.
The GT-R boasts a 480 horsepower, twin-turbo engine mated to a six-speed paddle-shifted gearbox which drives all four wheels. A computerized launch control function allows it to rocket to 100 kph in around 3.3 seconds. It's also available in six colors, with a custom BOSE stereo as standard.
GT-R goes on sale this summer for $81,900.
