Ram announced today the market launch of the Adventurer, a customizable 1500 offering a mix of performance and style and aimed at first-time buyers.
The pickup will follow along the lines of the Tradesman. It will eventually change names, as the current moniker is just a code name for the moment. Ram’s president and CEO, Fred Diaz, said the company already has the winning formula and “now we just need a great name that promotes pride of ownership”.
Praising the flair and sporty nature of the truck, Diaz adds that “a buyer will be able to drive off in a new HEMI-powered Ram Truck with money left over for other things, like Mopar accessories. There's nothing in the market – and that includes other trucks, as well as cars – that can compete with this truck's blend of style, exhilarating performance and value”.
The introduction of the model was initially planned for later this year, but the enthusiastic consumer response to the Tradesman has in a way forced the automaker to speed up the process and start taking orders.
Buyers looking to get their hands on the latest addition to the Ram range will benefit from a long list of options as well as a choice of eight body colours.
