Nissan has given the low-down on its GT-R Egoist, offering consumers the opportunity to express their unique individuality by customizing the cabin and combining several features that set it apart from the standard model.

The 3.8-litre, turbocharged, V6 mill, for instance, has been upgraded to spit out 522 ponies and 451 ft-lb of torque. Despite this boost in power, Nissan says the Egoist will be easier on Mother Nature in terms of fuel consumption.

The improved aerodynamics increase downforce by 10%, and the modified chassis and suspension ensure a smoother and more dynamic ride.

Leather trim has been added in a several choice spots, such as the base of the front seats, around the seat belts, on the A and B pillars, the centre console and the transmission tunnel and even inside the cup holders. If you add up all the available colours and stitching, a total of 84 combinations can set your GT-R apart.

Even the stereo received the same loving treatment, now boasting 11 Bose speakers placed according to the driver’s height, leg length and preferred driving position. The whole thing is topped off by a nine-inch woofer in a carbon composite mounting.

Talk about exclusivity.
