Tired of the same old car colours? Black, white, gray, silver, champagne… it seems as though we’re afraid of sticking out of the crowd. However, there are vehicles out there that offer some exciting colours that are worth mentioning, in case you hate driving around in total anonymity.
Most prestige brands go beyond their proposed choice of colours; if you lay down a little more of your hard-earned cash, you can obtain a paint job in the exact colour you want. But for now, let’s stick with the factory paint selection.
10th place: Nissan cube – Ocean Surf
Not that the cube needs a funky paint colour to set itself apart. Ocean Surf is a mix of light blue and titanium, and the result isn’t all that flashy, but it seems to highlight the cube’s curves.
9th place: Ferrari 458 Italia – Avorio
Okay, beige isn’t really an oddball colour, but it does look pretty unusual on a Prancing Horse. When you dream of a Ferrari, we bet it’s red, yellow or black. But beige? Hey, why not?
8th place: Jeep Compass – Optic Green
A Jeep with any other colour than army green might be a sin for some; we still think this lighter shade looks environmental and rugged at the same time. It could be worse—we could’ve preferred orange, which is also available on the Compass, by the way.
