According to Ward’s Auto Twitter account, president and CEO of Chrysler Sergio Marchionne confirmed that two special editions will eventually be available in North America.

The first will herald the return of the Dodge Charger Super Bee, a Coronet range model sold between 1968 and 1971 to rival Plymouth’s Road Runner.

The brand revived the model in 2007, 2008 and 2009. Based on the SRT-8, it featured a yellow body highlighted by black stripes and the Super Bee logo. A total of 2,425 units were sold during the first three years of production. We can likely expect a similar venture for the next variant.

The second car is diametrically opposed to the Charger, targeting fashionistas with a taste for luxury. Marchionne says the Fiat 500 Gucci Edition, currently only available in Europe, will be offered to Canadian and American consumers shortly.

Presented at the last Geneva Motor Show, the diminutive, 17,000-euro (CDN$ 23,965) model featured a signature Gucci green-red-green stripe running along both sides and also appearing here and there in the classy cabin trimmed in exclusive materials.
