The automaker insisted on going back to its roots and deepening its commitment to the Motor City because of the expertise, passion and skills of the people of Detroit. Chrysler workers have been known to build luxurious, state-of-the-art vehicles that achieve high quality standards.
Meanwhile, as announced last month, the soon-to-be reopened Conner Avenue Assembly plant will manufacture the next-generation SRT Viper. Employees actually began reporting for training and orientation last fall. The supercar will return to the lineup later this year as a 2013 model.
