Trois-Rivieres native Jean-François Dumoulin will be back on the Daytona International Speedway track at the Daytona 24hrs popular event on next January 29-30.

While many were expecting him to confirm a drive with Team Blackforest at the end of the month, it is with Bennett Racing that Dumoulin will come back to Daytona.

He will act as the only professional driver of the team. Young driver Mike Skeen and Americans Jonathan Allen and Michael Davidson will share the wheel of the Ferrari 430 Challenge.

Dumoulin is garanteed to be qualifying the car, starting the race, and running the most laps in the race for the Bennett Racing Team.

“The Ferrari 430 Challenge is a great car and I’ve already drove a similar one in Italy. It will most certainly be an interesting experience”, he said.

Dumoulin also hopes to secure a drive for several events during the 2011 Grand-Am Rolex. He eyes a partnership with driver Glynn Geddie who has a budget for a couple of races and could make good use of Dumoulin’s experience.
