Here we go again with another blast from the past. According to autoevolution, the Pantera will live once again and will make its official debut at the Frankfurt Auto Show this coming September.
It's reported that the new DeTomaso supercar will be powered by a GM-sourced V8 that will develop 600 horsepower, thanks to the addition of a supercharger. Rumours also stipulate that the car will use aluminum body panels and will weigh around 2,650 pounds (or 1,200 kilograms).
Only one car currently graces the DeTomaso line-up; the Deauville (SLC), a five-door notchback powered by a 300-hp, turbo 2.8-litre V6, was presented at this year's Geneva Auto Show.
