Detroit 2008: Land Rover presents the LRX Concept (video)

As the company will celebrate its 60th anniversary in 2008, the 3-door LRX is said to clearly address the needs of a changing world.

Described as a cross-coupe, the LRX is smaller than the LR2 but emphasizes luxury as it seeks to attract a different kind of customer base.

According to the company, the lower weight and reduced aerodynamic drag of the LRX results in greater efficiency and reduced CO2 emissions.
