Dodge Viper
As previously mentioned on Auto123.com, the 2008 Viper, which should hit showrooms next summer, will get some improvements, including more horsepower.

The V10 engine will be slightly enlarged, from 8.3 to 8.4 liters, and will pack 600 horses and 560 pound-feet of torque. Among other changes, the Viper will sport a new clutch and a hood with more air intakes.

Dodge Avenger
The Avenger is basically Dodge's version of the Chrysler Sebring, although much sportier. Dodge has been without a mid-size entry in Canada for eight years, and the new Avenger heavily borrows styling cues from the bigger Charger.

Power will come from the same range of engines available in the Sebring. SE and SXT models will get a 173-hp, 2.4-liter inline-4. A 2.7-liter flex-fuel V6 with 189 hp is optional in the SXT. Finally, R/T and R/T AWD models receive a 235-hp, 3.5-liter V6.

The 2008 Avenger SE will carry a base price of $21,995.

Dodge Magnum SRT8
The Magnum full-size wagon gets a facelift for 2008, which includes redesigned headlights and a new grille.

The SRT8 model gets some minor interior improvements, including a new ReConfigurable Display to get instant feedback on personal performance numbers. A new exterior color is available: Steel Blue Metallic.

The other Magnum models also get some interior changes, including a new cruise control stalk. On the outside, new colors will be available, and the R/T gets optional Xenon headlights.
