The Auto123.com Interactive Zone booth at the Montreal International Auto Show features five (Yes, 5) high end simulators for your enjoyment - and to let you test your speed against your buddies and other race and sim fans at the show.

In fact, the Auto123.com booth features two types of simulators, both mounted on cylinders to provide a true “On the track” experience.

Race at Indy
The four F1 Cockpit simulators are linked to create an actual race between the four drivers, complete with passing, incidents, and a winner. The screens also show what gear you are in and the speed of the car.

Four “F1 Cockpit” simulators with a D-Box mobility base, each worth over $30,000, are linked to let you and your friends race each other on this legendary high-speed track. The hydraulic bases let you feel braking, acceleration and cornering, to reproduce how it feels to really drive a race car at 340 km/h in the corners and 360 on the straights.

Drive an Audi R10 Le Mans Prototype on a Grand Prix track
The hi-tech Hexatech simulator stands 3 meters high, with greater amplitude of movement to give the driver a more acute feel for braking and cornering. Aerodynamic down force grows with speed, so that high speed corners are taken much more quickly than slower ones.

The Auto123.com booth also features a super sophisticated HEXATECH simulator, as used by at least four F1 manufacturers. These simulators are so realistic that they have become the main tool for development and fine tuning race cars. They are also used by F1 and other drivers learn race tracks and keep their competitive edge.

This $300,000 simulator uses aircraft simulation technology to provide the highest possible level of feedback and realism.

Drive and win

All lap and race times are registered and the three quickest drivers in each simulator will win respectively $2000, $500 and $50 at the end of the show.

A $100 gasoline certificate is also awarded daily to a lucky participant.

The Montreal International Auto Show hours are:

Tuesday, Jan. 18 to Saturday, Jan. 23 (10 am to 10 pm)
Sunday, Jan. 24, (10 am to 8 pm)
