Bruno Spengler (C Class Mercedes) comments his race in Adria, where he took the championship lead back before last round in Shanghai.

The Canadian driver took 3rd position and now stands three points ahead of teammate Paul Di Resta in the standing. The Scot finished ninth, out of the points.

"It was a very difficult race, explained Spengler to auto123.com. The track was humid, there were mood, gravels, debris, etc.

"It was difficult for the drivers but also for the engineers who had to find the right moment to make the pit stops. The team did a great job,  the guys were very fast in the pits.”

"The car was good, excepted during my second stint, where it was quite slippery. But everything was ok after my second pit stop.

"It was tough, Gary put a lot of pressure on me, especially during my second stint. Finally, we got a good result, it was important to score big points, and to take the championship lead back before Shanghai."
