Sources from Germany announced that David Coulthard will test a C Class Mercedes in order to join the serie in 2010.
The Scot was present during the final round of the 2009 season in Hockenheim, and told he was impressed by the performances and the level of technology of the DTM cars.
Coulthard could have a test in the following weeks with Mercedes. The british driver was linked with the german brand, as he raced with McLaren-Mercedes in F1 for years. Some german newspapers reported that Coulthard could even replace Ralf Schumacher in the official team (beside canadian driver Bruno Spengler) in 2010.
Mercedes did not confirm, but neither confirm this information.
