Kia has given us a sneak peek of their future CUV (crossover utility vehicle) by showing us their Multi-S Concept at the 2005 Frankfurt Motor Show. The "S" in the name represented "sporty, spacious and smart" and the vehicle itself was a crossover between a small wagon, European-style MPVs, small SUVs and the versatility of the PT Cruiser-type vehicles.
In the past we've sent you camouflaged pictures prototypes out testing out west, but now we have the production-ready version as clean as can be - and even sporting the "Rondo" nameplate!
A look through the glass confirmed this was the seven-passenger version, although the last row looks like it would accommodate the tikes better than the basketball players in the family.
Power for the all-new Rondo is expected to come from a 2.4-liter 4-cylinder engine with 158-horsepower, or an optional 2.7-liter six-cylinder with 185-horsepower.
Sources are saying that the official debut of the Rondo will be at the L.A. Auto Show in late November, so it will likely be a while before you see any better pictures of this latest addition to the Kia lineup.
