Only days after the news broke that Ferrari had signed Lotus' Dirk De Beer, the Enstone based team hired Nicolas Hennel from the Scuderia's technical staff, according to reports.

South African De Beer therefore becomes the third member of the Lotus F1 Team to jump ship over to Ferrari, after James Allison, whose deal with the Maranello based outfit was confirmed in July, and Kimi Raikkonen, who ended months of speculation just last week.

Allison has been Ferrari's chassis technical director since September 1st. De Beer is scheduled to start his new job next month, according to the BBC.

Starting next month as well, Hennel will replace De Beer as head of aero at Lotus.

No confirmation yet from either Ferrari or Lotus.
