The organizers of the upcoming FORMULA 1 GRAND PRIX DU CANADA and ROGERS CUP, which will be held on June 6-8 and August 1-10, respectively, are pleased to announce that they have formed a historic alliance which will be sure to please fans of world class motor racing and women’s professional tennis.

In order to celebrate the simultaneous 35th presentations, during summer 2014, of the two greatest sporting events in Montréal, it has been agreed to offer three-day tickets for both the Grand Prix and Women’s Tennis for a combined price of $399.

“Formula 1 and professional tennis are two great Montréal traditions, with a rich history covering more than three decades. This summer, for the 35th time, our city will play host to the world’s greatest athletes in two venues that have now reached mythical status: the circuit Gilles-Villeneuve and the Uniprix Stadium at Jarry Park, and we simply had to do something special for this occasion. As Montrealers, we are very proud to combine forces with Eugène Lapierre’s team and the Rogers Cup to thank our respective fans for their unwavering loyalty”, stated François Dumontier, President and Chief Executive Officer of Groupe de course Octane and the FORMULA 1 GRAND PRIX DU CANADA.

“The FORMULA 1 GRAND PRIX DU CANADA and the Rogers Cup both bring Montréal to the forefront of the world of sports. For more than three decades, our two events have helped to raise awareness of our city all around the world, thanks to their sustained popular success, and shown images of the ever-enthusiastic crowds in our grandstands,” added Rogers Cup Director Eugène Lapierre. “We are happy to offer this unique package deal with François Dumontier’s team to all those who wish to spend six unforgettable days in June and in August with the greatest drivers and tennis players in the world.”
