French Formula 1 driver Jules Bianchi will start working with a new race engineer from the Grand Prix of Spain.

Briton Paul Davison had engineered Bianchi --a protégé of the Scuderia Ferrari -- since joining Marussia at the start of 2013.

Davidson has been promoted to Head of vehicle performance at Marussia.

Italian Francesco Nenci who comes from Sauber will take his place alongside Bianchi.

"Paul and Francesco will work together by way of a handover at the Spanish Grand Prix this weekend, after which Paul will be fully focused on his new role based at the Marussia Technical Centre in Banbury, UK," a Marussia statement read.
