According to a report on Bloomberg, Fiat and Chrysler CEO Sergio Marchionne said the next in unifying the two automakers is to share a single management structure.
One obvious goal to this procedure is to reduce costs, but also to achieve a combined revenue target of $140 billion USD by 2014. At the end of 2011, Fiat will have a 57-percent stake in Chrysler, including a 5 percent gain in exchange for the development of a fuel-efficient car for the American automaker.
Marchionne plans to announce the new management structure “pretty quickly”.
