It's no secret, the star of the show was going to be, is and will be the Lamborghini Aventador. Take a look at the pictures: you've never seen a more desirable, racy, emotionally packed and angry, sexy, mad car! You know that whatever happens in your life, you will have to at least sit in this raging bull of a beast.

From the very moment people walked into the Palexpo, they began piling up in front of the three Aventadors. Who can blame them...

As for the Ferrari FF. Not so much...

In fact, the Volkswagen Group could arguably be crowned “Champs of the Show2 for offering up some of the most interesting, eye-catching and coveted unveils: Golf Cabrio, A3 concept and a bunch more. I'll have more meat for y'all next week.

Other notables, well, kind of, were Lancia with their reveal of a trio of well-known Chryslers: the 200, the 200 convertible and the 300. More on this next week as well.

Geneva wouldn't be Geneva without its supercars, the ones that we all know about but rarely if ever get to see in North America. I'm talking about the insane Koenigseggs, Paganis, Morgans and others.

In a few hours from now, we'll have a gallery online for you to peruse with all the aforementioned brands and more!

Make sure you stay with us for more continuing coverage, tonnes of galleries and some interesting articles including my interview with Klaus Bischoff, head of Volkswagen Design.
