Mazda will gauge customer interest with the MX-5 GT Concept, inspired from its podium-winning MX-5 GT race program. During the Goodwood Festival of Speed (June 28th to July 1st), visitors will get to see a bright orange model with a contrasting carbon front splitter, rear diffuser and decklid spoiler.
Beneath the hood lies a 205-horsepower, 2.0L naturally aspirated engine. Recaro seats, a sports exhaust system with central tailpipe, an adjustable suspension, and black wheels and roof enhance its sporty look.
Limited production is a possibility, although Mazda wouldn't comment on the subject.
The MX-5 GT Concept will be showcased alongside the Bentley Continental GT Speed, Jaguar F-Type Concept and Pagani Zonda.
