Google's self-driving Prius efficient at high speed too (video)

Last fall, Google announced the development of an electronic system allowing vehicles to drive themselves. During a press conference held in California last week, Google let participants try out the technology.

It had already been established that self-driving cars were efficient at low speed. These two videos show that the system is evolving nicely, to the sound of screeching wheels in a sharp turn.

These impressive images are undeniable proof that the inclusion of such technologies in mass-produced vehicles of the near future isn’t such a far-fetched idea after all.
