James Calado (Lotus GP) takes win in the second round of the GP2 championship, presented at Sepang.

The Brit took 8th place in race 1, which put him on pole for race 2, thanks to the reverse grid regulation for the top 8. Calado had a good start and pulled away in front ahead of teammate Esteban Gutierrez, who was starting second. Both drivers eventually took a 1-2 for Lotus GP at the checkered flag.

Felipe Nasr (DAMS), who started from third place, concluded the race at the same position, while Giedo Van der Garde (Caterham Racing) had a great catch up as he took fourth place from his ninth position on the grid.

Davide Valsecchi (DAMS), who took second place in race 1, was forced to retirement after a spectacular crash with Marcus Ericsson (iSport). The Italian driver, who set the pole position on Friday, escaped unhurt after his car rolled out.

Luiz Razia (Arden International), who won race 1 and then 5th place in race 2, leads provisional championship classification ahead of Valsecchi, second of the classification despite his crash on Sunday.
