Team Sahlen, which had already signed star driver Simon Pagenaud to drive in the twice-around-the-clock race, has now added Bruno Junqueira to its lineup.

The team also signed veteran Tomy Drissi.

Junqueira is well known in North America for his string of open-wheel successes. He most famously took the pole at the 2002 Indianapolis 500, and the 1997 South American F3 championship. The Brazilian also raced in Europe, where he took the 2000 Formula 3000 championship.

As for Drissi, he experienced about every form of sports car racing in the States, including NASCAR, Grand-Am, ALMS and World Challenge competition. Throughout his career, Drissi even came across Team Sahlen before, for two races in Grand-Am. It was in 2005.

Both men competed most recently in the ALMS, in 2012.

The other drivers who form Team Sahlen's lineup aside from Pagenaud, Junqueira and Drissi are Joe, Will and Wayne Nonnamaker and Joe Sahlen.
