The Kang Show Company, a Chinese shoe manufacturer, has come up with a rather original way to promote its products, creating a fleet of 40 EVs – shaped like shoes.
Three feet high, ten feet long and made from the same leather used for the company’s products, the « cars » can accommodate two people and travel 402 km at approximately 50 km/h.
Development of the first unit took about six months and required some $6,400. Once ready, the 40 EVs will be distributed at various points of sale across China.
The question is, will the accompanying shoe care products be offered free of charge, or will we have to pay extra?
