We all know that hybrid vehicles are quiet and it can be hard for pedestrians/cyclists to hear the car coming. So with that in mind, the people at Nissan thought it would be appropriate to add an electronic whistle to the Leaf. They put 2 different sounds, one when going forward and one when going backward.
