2. Goodyear
Like Michelin, American brand Goodyear brand no longer needs an introduction for SUV and pickup truck owners. Neither does its line of Wrangler tires, since these been with us for years and especially because they come in a multitude of versions.
For example, if you're looking for a less-aggressive SUV or light-truck tire, there's the Wrangler Fortitude that should meet your expectations. On the other hand, if you like to drag your SUV or pickup through the mud or point it onto more demanding trails, but still want to use it as an everyday vehicle, the Wrangler Adventure A/T should fulfill your needs.
If you have a relatively large SUV but don't want a noisy tire, Goodyear offers the TripleTred version of the Assurance CS tire. This product is in fact a car tire with a deeper tread pattern that should dissipate water well and provide good grip in the event of a spring or autumn snowfall.
Finally, if you own a pickup truck that you put to commercial use, Goodyear has a very rugged tire for you, the Duratrac, which can also be used for heavy loads.
