Crossover Concept
This new concept was designed at Hyundai's new studio in Russelsheim, Germany. Should this "crossover" ever go into production, it would be assembled at one of Hyundai's factories in either Slovakia or the Czech Republic.
By the same token, Hyundai has revealed its new alphanumeric naming system. As we already know, Hyundai's has been labelled with a unique name. From now on, all new model names will be based on a letter and numbers used to designate the model and most likely engine size.
i30
The i30 is Hyundai's new European C-segment competitor. The category includes the likes of the very popular Ford Focus amongst others. This new 5-door hatchback shares its platform and engines with the Kia ex_cee'd and they include includes 1.4L, 1.6L and 2.0L gas engines and a 1.6L and 2.0L CRDi diesel engine. If the name i30 rings a bell, that it because it was once associated to an Infiniti product. It appears as though it will not be offered in North America.
