Therefore, Dario Franchitti (Ganassi) will start from pole on Sunday followed by Penske's Ryan Briscoe and Rahal Letterman’s Takuma Sato.
Hunter-Reay was the last of the drivers in the Fast Six to post a lap, and clocked his run with a 1m17.2338s, 0.01s faster than Franchitti.
