The IZOD IndyCar series officials have decided to cancel the upcoming tests of the new Dallara car.
The Target Ganassi team were scheduled to stage a two-day test at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway with the new Dallara with Dario Franchitti at the wheel.
Franchitti's wife, actress Ashey Judd, wrote the following message on Twitter : “I appreciate IndyCar cancelling my husband's test at Las Vegas track. The new car needs development - but not now, and never again there.”
Meanwhile, the IndyCar Series has launched an enquiry for find the reasons that caused the tragic 15-car pileup on Sunday which resulted in the tragic death of Dan Wheldon. The FIA will assist the IndyCar series in the investigation.
