Pagenaud got a taste of an Indy car earlier this year when he contested a few races for HVM and Dreyer & Reinbold.
The 27-year-old had previously won the 2006 Atlantic title then impressed during a single season of Champ Car racingĀ in 2007.
It is more than likely now that Canadian Alex Tagliani should be officialised at Bryan Herta Autosport in the near future. Next week?
