Under the hot sun and bright sheetmetal of California's Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance, Infiniti announced that it will double its Infiniti Performance Line lineup with the addition of the new 2013 IPL G Convertible.
The concept on display featured unique aerodynamic styling, an IPL-tuned V6, exhaust and suspension, 19-inch IPL aluminum-alloy wheels, a three-piece retractable hardtop and a unique red leather-appointed interior.
Additional information on the 2013 Infiniti IPL G Convertible will be available during the production version debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show in November.
Considering the existing IPL G Coupe, the G37-based cabriolet will likely receive a boost of about 18 horsepower and 6 lb-ft of torque along with a deeper, more intimidating exhaust note. Elsewhere, the car will be all about style.
