Former Formula One driver Franck Montagny admits that his hopes are rapidly fading to obtain a regular IndyCar seat for the 2009 season but he is still targeting an Indianapolis 500 drive with Andretti-Green Racing.
While he tested for AGR on both ovals and road courses during the winter, it now looks very unlikely that Michael Andretti's team will expend to a fifth car but he is still discussing the possibility of a limited programme with AGR, including Indianapolis.
Montagny's only confirmed drive for 2009 at present is another Le Mans 24 Hours appearance with Peugeot.
