There are very few good news about Canadian motorsport these days. But here’s one that will really please the karting community.

Karting Quebec and Robert Foteas are proud to announce that Karting Quebec and the kart circuits’ owners just concluded an agreement with the production’s company “Images Pro-Motion” for the telecast of the ChampKart’s series on RDS.

The agreement, for the 2010 season, is that RDS will broadcast, immediately after the Formula One qualification session, nine shows of the ChampKart series.

Well-known racer and Auto123.com spokesperson Bertrand Godin has been chosen to be the colourman.

The ChampKart series will include the entire races of “La Coupe du Quebec”, along with the street races of Trois-Rivieres (Le petit Monaco) and Shawinigan (Le Grand Prix de Shawinigan).

Furthermore, the 2010 Canadian Karting Championship, which will take place at St-Roch de l’Achigan from August 20 to 22, will be part of the ChampKart series.
