Enhanced partnership with CARPROOF

Kia Canada has enhanced its partnership with CARPROOF to increase awareness and consumer confidence of Kia Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) vehicles.

To be included in Kia’s CPO program, vehicles must qualify for a “CARPROOF Top Condition” badge, meaning they must surpass strict safety and condition standards. These badges appear on CARPROOF Vehicle History Reports (VHRs) for Kia CPO vehicles, in addition to prominent placement of Kia’s CPO logo and a statement explaining the benefits of choosing a Kia CPO vehicle.

The logo and badge appear on VHRs for these vehicles only until they are retailed, but the vehicle retains a permanent CPO record as part of its history. This provides subsequent owners confidence that the vehicle was thoroughly inspected, reconditioned and warrantied at this point of its life.

“This initiative is an effective way for automotive dealers to use a CARPROOF VHR as a selling tool,” says Mike Foster, National Manager, OEM & Lender at CARPROOF. “In addition, the permanent CPO record can help with resale value when the time comes to trade the vehicle in again.”

“Kia Canada is extremely excited to further enhance our partnership with CARPROOF to increase transparency into our Certified Pre-Owned vehicle program,” says Stephane Lubin, Manager, National Remarketing and CPO at Kia Canada. “Incorporating Kia CPO badging into CARPROOF reports will naturally expand our ability to provide reliability, dependability and peace of mind for our consumers.”
