On March 1st, the new Kia Optima Sportswagon will make its global debut at the 2016 Geneva Auto Show. It will go on sale across Europe in the fourth quarter of this year.
While this model represents the Korean brand’s first foray into the wagon market, we shouldn’t expect to see it in North America anytime soon, possibly ever.
Inspired by the SPORTSPACE concept that premiered in Geneva last year, the Kia Optima Sportswagon offers 553 litres of cargo room, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, as well as a selection of gasoline and diesel engines.
