A company insider told Reuters that Kia plans to release a sports sedan that would compete against the BMW 4 Series and Audi A5. Starting in 2017, this RWD model is expected to deliver quite a punch with a selection of engines including 2.0L, 2.2L and 3.0L units.
Annual production at the Seoul plant is reportedly pegged at 60,000, that is when the Kia Rio moves to Mexico early next year.
