Lotus today unveiled the new, track-ready Elise 250 Race, described as the fastest, most focused Elise racer in company history.
Sporting head-turning lines, this lightweight 2-seater is certified for a large number of races around the world. It will go on sale in the U.S. starting at $76,200 plus taxes.
Under the hood of the Lotus Elise 250 Race is a 1.8L engine that produces 243 horsepower and allows a top speed of 248 km/h. Other highlights include adjustable Nitron shocks, an FIA-approved carbon fibre race bucket with a 6-point harness, a removable steering wheel, and more.
