Following the launch of the S-Class Coupe in Geneva, the 2014 New York International Auto Show will feature the world premiere of the new Mercedes-Benz S 63 AMG Coupe, which will go on sale later this year.

Equipped with a 5.5L twin-turbo V8 engine that produces 585 horsepower and 664 lb-ft of torque, the S 63 AMG Coupe delivers more horsepower (+41 hp) and more torque (+74 lb-ft) than the outgoing CL 63 AMG, while shaving 65 kilograms (total of 1,995 kg) through the use of an all-aluminum shell and lightweight lithium-ion battery.

Mercedes-Benz will start taking orders for the S 63 AMG 4MATIC Coupe in April, while non-4MATIC models will be available for ordering as of July.
