Also, I can't help but noticing that MINI and Red Bull both show up in many of these types of sporting events. I'm thinking this is all part of MINI's master-plan as they are scheduled to return to the WRC (yay!) and the first race in which they will participate is the Rally d’Italia, Sardegna, expected to run from May 5th to the 8th 2011. WRC, MINI and Red Bull do mix with desirable results, unlike Vodka and the energy drink.

Of particular interest for the crowd at hand, other than the cars, was the fact that we had 3 Canadians in the Top 5 standings. At the very end of the night, a flying Finn Pihlainen took the top spot on the podium and got a brand spanking' new Countryman. Our own Louis-Philippe Dumoulin landed in second and rounding out the Top 3 was fellow Canuck Kyle Croxall.
Also, we'd like to congratulate Philippe Poirier, recipient of the MINI Rookie Award in this Ice-Cross Downhill Competition. He will get to drive around in a new MINI provided by MINI Canada.
Do you care to count the number of “MINI/Mini” in this story? If not, there are: 21.
