MINI will once again be presenting an original concept next month at the Paris Auto Show. Utterly unique, the small SUV features an unusual configuration. The right side sports two short, hinged doors while the left side features one long door and tiny one that slides backwards. The general styling of the Concept reflects the rest of MINI's lineup, with several elements already found on production models.

The cabin is just as original, and the usual central dashboard concept has been taken to the extreme. A three-dimensional globe indicates your speed and various other information by way of a laser. What's more, the colour of the driver's seat contrasts with the three other seats. BMW hasn't released any information about the engine at this time.

The good news is that BMW's Norbert Neithofer has confirmed production of a small MINI SUV. The company plans on building the final, Concept-derived version in Graz, Austria. Fifty thousand units should be produced every year. The small, as yet unnamed SUV should be available in North America in 2010.
