Mitsubishi, like every other manufacturer, is exploring and working a hybrid system. The Concept CT is an AWD sporty compact hatchback. It uses in-wheel motors at each corner coupled to high-energy lithium-ion batteries. Like all hybrids, the power pack is mated to a gasoline engine. Together, they create an impressive amount of power and increase cruising range.
