The new M6 coupe has arrived right behind the incredible M5 sedan. It is powered by a fabulous 5.0-litre V10 developing 507 horsepower, a whopping 100 hp per 1 litre of displacement from a normally aspirated motor with an 8 000 rpm redline. It is no wonder then that the car will rocket from 0 to 100 km/h in no more than 4.5 seconds. With a near perfect weight distribution, enormous disc brakes, meaty 19" wheels and tires, the M6 will tear up any surface covered in tarmac with assertiveness. Its actual kerb weight is kept as low as possible with the use of ultra-light forged aluminium wheel and a carbon-fiber roof.
BMW's third generation of the F1-inspired sequential manual gearbox (SMG) sports 7 forward gears and is controlled by paddles located behind the steering wheel. The new M6 will be the fastest M-Series vehicle ever built by BMW.
