Canadian Andrew Ranger will be back in the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series (NCTS) as he will spearhead the two-car effort of Go Canada Racing which will become GC Motorsports International.
For 2012 the team will continue to compete in the NASCAR Nationwide Series with drivers from both Canada and the United States; starting with David Ragan at Daytona.
GC Motorsports International will team up with Dave Jacombs Racing to form GC Motorsports Canada. The team plans to field a two-car effort anchored by two-time series' champion Andrew Ranger.
Ranger will also return to the NASCAR Nationwide Series team this year by competing in a number of Nationwide races, including the series' only Canadian event -- the NAPA Auto Parts 200 in Montreal.
