NASCAR Canadian Tire: Andrew Ranger earns pole in Toronto

Two-time NASCAR Canadian Tire Series champion Andrew Ranger has earned his second pole position of the 2010 season, this time in the twtisry and narrow streets of Toronto for the Jumpstart 100.

Ranger, who had finished a close second to DJ Kennington earlier in the day during the first and only practice session, clocked his best run at 1:16.659 around the 1.765-mile course, where the Canadian Tire Series will hold its inaugural race on Saturday.

JR Fitzpatrick, with a time of 1.17.104 will start in second place while the NASCAR K&N Pro Series champion Jason Bowles and DJ Kennington, amazingly have exactly the same tim:; 1:17.469.

Anthony Simone and veteran Kerry Micks are rounding up the top 5 in what is sure to be an exciting race.
