Jack Roush was released from the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota on Wednesday, according to a statement from NASCAR team Ford Roush Fenway Racing.
The Roush Fenway Racing co-owner had suffered facial injuries in a landing accident of a private jet near Oshkosh, WI on July 27th.
“I would like to thank everyone for the outpouring of support and concern I have received the past two weeks,” Roush said. “Our teams and drivers have not missed a beat in my absence, and I am proud of the effort they have put forth. I look forward to rejoining them at the track soon.”
Roush, who is also chairman of Roush Enterprises, survived a life-threatening crash in 2002 near Talladega Speedway.
According to the team “it has not yet been determined when Roush will return to the race track.”
