With dominant victory at Dover, Kyle Busch set NASCAR Nationwide season record of 11-wins in one season.

The driver started from second after his younger teammate, Joey Logano, knocked him off the pole - Busch had said: “He’s super fast.”

The race was hardly in doubt as Busch led 192 laps of the 200 lapper at the concrete track known as the “Monster Mile.”

There was just a little suspense at the end."I don't know if we had a wheel loose at the end or what, but we made it. All in all, it’s pretty spectacular to be associated with these guys and have them win with me,” Busch said.

“I wasn’t imagining these things, it really happened,” added Bush with a nervous laugh.

Logano who ended up second said: “We were no good on the restarts and we've been that way all year. We just weren't good enough. It's second and that stinks, but it's still better than third."

Carl Edwards, holding on to hopes to win the series’ title, finished third. Series points leader Brad Keselowski finished 17th, but, continued to hold an iron grip on the lead, 320 points ahead of Edwards.

Danica Patrick’s struggle with NASCAR stock cars continued. While running three laps down her car blew a tire, on lap 71, causing lengthy repairs.

“I know now from experiencing that when the car has a vibration and it doesn't want to turn, you're probably losing tire pressure," said Patrick after finishing 35th. "We'll get this figured out."

The previous season record of 10 wins was shared by Busch and Sam Ard.
Busch’s recording setting 11th season victory was notable in that he’s done it while running only 23 of the 28 races run in this series so far this year.

With 41 Nationwide wins Busch has his sights set on the all-time career record of 48 held by Mark Martin.
